Hello! My name is Richard (Ricky) Jimenez, and I'm currently advancing my education at Utah Tech University, where I'm pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. I'm eagerly anticipating my graduation in the spring of 2026. As a dedicated father and husband, my journey in the field of nursing is not just a career choice but a passion that I balance with my family life. My ultimate goal is to further specialize by attending a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program in Acute Care Pediatrics. This ambition stems from a deep desire to make a significant impact in the lives of children facing acute health challenges.
Beyond my academic and career aspirations, I am genuinely excited about the opportunity to serve in a leadership role. I see this as a chance to recruit more attendees to our conferences, fostering a vibrant, learning-rich environment for all involved. Moreover, I am looking forward to building lasting friendships and expanding my professional network. These connections will not only enrich my personal and professional life but also support my aspirations of becoming a leader in pediatric acute care.
I believe that this leadership position will enable me to contribute meaningfully to our community while gaining invaluable skills and experiences. It's an exciting journey ahead, and I am committed to making the most of this opportunity to learn, grow, and help others along the way.
