PictureBeing a part of NSNA has helped me find a team and develop a community that is motivated to help others. This team has instilled in me the qualities of a real leader who leads by example and acts with compassion and determination to finish the job. NSNA has allowed me to find something inside me I didn't know existed. That part of me has grown every time we work together and turn our plans into reality. As an officer of NSNA, I feel that it is my duty to help my classmates and our future nurses reach their full potential by providing resources, and by being a mentor, and friend.

As a nurse, I have been fortunate to practice in a variety of settings, including oncology, home health/rehab, long-term care, and hospice as well as nursing education. Currently, I am an Instructor and Program Coordinator in the DSU CNA program, Advisor to the Dixie Student Nurses Association and a Faculty Advisor for the Utah Student Nurses Association.
